Electrical pitch systems with PitchMaster II+ models are suitable for installation at operation heights up to 3,000 m and internal controls cabinet temperatures from -40 to +70 °C. This device platform’s innovative product features include an intelligent pre-charge DC link unit that which protects the slip ring from too high charging currents and allows for optimised, safe fault ride through operation (LVRT, HVRT).
Easy servicing Reduced number of components
PitchMaster II+ drives include a PWM high voltage brake driver to directly control the motor brake. Like the integrated backup power charger, this reduces the number of components in the control cabinet and maximises availability and easy servicing.
PitchMotors For challenging use in wind turbines
The pitchmotors are adapted for challenging use in wind turbines and tested under extreme climate conditions. The AC synchronous motors are distinguished by their high power density and field weakening capacity.
